News: Bath coach John Connolly has called for the introduction of independent citing commissioners at all European matches following Saturday's fractious Parker Pen Challenge Cup semi-final first-leg clash with Montferrand.
Irish referee David McHugh dished out four yellow cards and sent off Montferrand prop David Attoub in the 49th minute.
Connolly said there were other incidents he would like to review and citings could follow, although he feels this should not be instigated by himself and appealed to ERC officials to act.
Bath emerged 29-15 winners in a physical contest which will have done the credibility of the Challenge Cup no harm whatsoever.
They trailed 15-0 at one point, but Attoub's dismissal sparked a revival, with Olly Barkley, Wylie Human and Andy Beattie touching down, while McHugh also awarded a penalty try after Montferrand collapsed a string of five-metre scrums.
Whether the 14-point cushion will be enough to ensure progression to the final with a daunting second-leg trip to France to come remains to be seen.
