England v South Africa: Beleaguered Springbok coach Jake White faces the biggest crisis of his career after the most powerful regional province in South African rugby passed a motion of no confidence in him and called on him to resign.
A statement released by the Blue Bulls Rugby Union - who have 10 players in the current Springbok squad - said: "The BBRU want to express its shock and unhappiness with the performance of our national rugby team, the Springboks.
"The union places the blame squarely on the shoulders of the coach, Mr Jake White, and his management team. In the interest of SA Rugby these gentlemen are requested to resign with immediate effect."
White opted for the physical presence of Butch James at outhalf yesterday as he announced a team with 11 changes - five positional - for Saturday's Test against England at Twickenham.
James replaces Andre Pretorius at 10, Akona Ndungane returns on the wing with Wynand Olivier at centre, allowing Bryan Habana to return to his preferred place on the wing.
Francois Steyn, one of the few players to emerge with credit after a try-scoring debut in Dublin, moves from wing to fullback. In the pack Jacques Cronje comes in at number eight, with Pierre Spies moving to flanker. Johann Muller comes in at lock, BJ Botha into the frontrow.
