66 mins:O'Driscoll works across the pitch towards the right to ground a breaking Jamie Roberts and wrap him up, stopping the Welsh attack outside the Irish 22.

69 mins:O'Driscoll hits his old Lions centre partner again, this time crunching Roberts and lifting him off his feet and backwards just beside the left touchline. The hit draws a gasp from the crowd.

75 mins:O'Driscoll looks for a delicate kick to touch from the halfway line but overcooks it. Welsh lineout just inside the Irish half.

77 mins:Making sure those famous hamstrings remain elastic, O'Driscoll stays on the turf and requires help from Irish team medics to get through some stretches on the pitch.

80 mins:The referee blows for the end of the game with the Irish captain sucking in air and with both hands on his head. The first man over to him for an embrace on completion of his 100th cap is Lions centre partner Roberts.
