Bohemians' boss Roddy Collins exuded his normal pre-match confidence but privately must be worried about the outcome of tonight's UEFA Cup first-round, second-leg clash with German side Kaiserslautern at the Fritz Walter Stadium (kick-off 7.45 p.m. Irish time). Trailing 3-1 from the first leg at Tolka Park 10 days ago, Collins knew he would be without suspended striker Trevor Molloy, who was sent off in controversial circumstances during the sides' first meeting. To add to his worries, Collins must plan without influential central defender Shaun Maher who picked up a hip injury in a training session earlier this week.

Given that situation, Collins has had to reshuffle his side with a call-up for central midfielder Darren O'Keeffe who has served out a one-match ban after being sent off in the preliminary-round win over Aberdeen.

Veterans Liam O'Brien and Tony O'Connor are left out and Rob Bowman plays in the centre of defence with young Tony Hopper in the right-back position. Dave Williamson is also recalled to play just behind lone striker Glen Crowe.

Kaiserslautern's 3-1 victory over FC Cologne in the Bundesliga on Friday moved them up to 10th in the table. That result took some of the pressure off coach Otto Rehhagel and now the expected 25,000 home fans will be satisfied with nothing less than a comprehensive victory.

Collins remains defiant: "Until the red card for Trevor Molloy just before half-time in the first leg, we were more than holding our own against the Germans. But of course Kaiserslautern are on a different planet from us when you look at their players individually.

"We will have a go at them right from the first whistle, as we did at Tolka. But I accept the absence of Molloy and Maher are huge losses. But we just have to get on with the game."

Bohemians: Russell; Hopper, Bowman, Hill, Webb; Williamson, Caffrey, O'Keeffe, Hunt, Morrison; Crowe.
