CHAMPIONS St Patrick's Athletic will have the company of fellow group winners Bohemians, Dundalk, Derry City, Athlone Town and Cork City in the quarter finals of the League Cup with Galway United and Drogheda United snatching the best runners up spots to complete the eight.
Bohemians clinched their place from lopsided Group F with a first half display that transfixed UCD at Belfield. Brian Mooney, mesmerised the students throughout the opening 45 minutes as Bohemians ran up the 2-0 lead which won them the game.
On 38 minutes Mullen's first time cross was perfectly headed to the net by Padraig Dully. Bohemians' second goal, three minutes before the interval, saw captain James Coll heading home unchallenged.

But Fergal Coleman headed home the winner 12 minutes from time, Kilkenny City shocked Cork City with two injury time goals in a 2-2 draw at Buckley Park, though the result still meant Cork comfortably won Group A. Cork led with goals from Damien O'Connell, after 28 minutes, and John Caulfield, four minutes into the second half. But Brendan Rea began Kilkenny's late surge, on 90 minutes before Ritchie Hale's equaliser.
