The Hilary Golfing Society received a timely boost with the announcement last week that BMW will sponsor their Winter League which starts at Portmarnock Links on February 11th. Mark Coates, the Sutton Senior Cup player, will be defending the gold medal won last year while Aer Rianta will sponsor the professional prizes.
Outings are also planned for Royal Dublin, Laytown and Bettystown, European Club and Co Louth, with the final out at Sutton. Professionals interested in taking part in the first outing at Portmarnock Links should contact Debbie at 01-8342577.
