Allegations of the first alleged hometown decision in boxing have come from the Dominican Republic's Jerson Ravelo, who went down by 8-7 to Australian Paul Miller.
, who lost 8-7 to Miller in the middleweight division, led his opponent 7-3 after two rounds but was not credited with a single point in the final two rounds.
Miller's only words to waiting media as he left the ring were: "It wasn't a good performance but I'm proud to be representing my country."
"That was a bad decision," Ravelo said. It was a hometown decision."
