NEARLY there now. Bray Wanderers' 4-1 defeat of fellow contenders Home Farm Everton at the Carlisle Grounds yesterday has all but booked their ticket back to the Premier Division, as they now wallow 14 points clear at the top of the First Division table.
Ritchie Parsons couldn't put a foot wrong in the first half heading home the opening goal after Kieran O'Brien had knocked Robbie Coyle's corner back across goal.
Pat O'Brien's fine slalom run past several attempted challenges then set up Parsons to drill home his second from 15 yards four minutes before the break.
Parsons' perfectly weighted through ball sent Kieran O'Brien in for Bray's third within eight minutes of the second half to wrap up the points.
Sweeper Peter Eccles, back following a two month injury layoff, headed home a Martin Bayly cross for Home Farm's consolation goal on 78 minutes.
Bray's powerful display deserved the last say, and they got it when Derek O'Neill crashed home their fourth goal off the crossbar.
