Bray Wanderers - 3 Waterford Utd - 1: Bray Wanderers had to come from behind with three late goals from Stephen Gifford, Paul Caffrey and Eamon Zayed to see off the challenge of bottom-of-the-table Waterford United at the Carlisle Grounds last night.

Waterford took the lead on 62 minutes when a cross by Brendan Hughes on the right was swept home by Polish midfielder Kristian Lamberski from 12 yards although there was a suggestion that Charles may have had the final touch as the ball flashed past goalkeeper Chris O'Connor.

Waterford joy was short-lived when striker Gavin Doyle was ordered off by referee Pat Whelan on 65 minutes for a second bookable offence.

BRAY WANDERERS: O'Connor; Gifford, Charles, McGovern, Keogh; R Doyle (Ryan 90 mins), Caffrey, James (O'Brien 66 mins), Tyrell (Georgescu 90 mins); Fox, Zayed.
