Dundalk's recent revival, which had seen them undefeated since November 21st, came to a halt at Oriel Park yesterday at the hands of bottom-of-the-table Bray Wanderers.

Ironically, the winning strike came from Mick Doohan, who had only recently departed from Dundalk.

Dundalk's David Ward was guilty of missing a gilt-edged chance after a terrific through ball from David Crawley but Bray goalkeeper John Walsh did well to parry his shot and Brian Byrne following up was just not sharp enough to force the ball into an empty net.

Bray chose to defend for most of the second half but were unlucky when an O'Connor header was ruled out for off-side.
