Ian Williams could have a smart prospect on his hands as this seven-year-old would seem to be on a pretty steep upward curve at the moment.

Brewster made a satisfactory start with fourth place in a Grade Two event at Chepstow in October, but he was soon off the mark in a decent novice event at Cheltenham a couple of weeks later.

He then returned to Prestbury Park to absolutely run away with another Grade Two race, beating Jackson by 12 lengths with the useful Football Crazy back in third.

The form of that race may not be the strongest, but there was still plenty to like about Brewster's performance and he could well be able to make the step up again.

Foreman will be an interesting contender as he makes his fencing debut in the Western Daily Press Club Novices' Chase.

The six-year-old won the Irish Champion Hurdle last season when under the care of Francois Doumen, but Foreman is now with his son, Thierry, who has prepared him for this chase run.

Foreman featured in a number of events at the very highest level last season and a translation of that kind of form to fences would see him come out on top here.

Ferdy Murphy's yard are in great form at present and Ulusaba can keep up the momentum in the Stan James Mandarin Handicap Chase.

The eight-year-old registered a quick double at Leicester in November before just getting pipped by Parsons Legacy last time.

Ulusaba's penalty that day probably just anchored him a bit, but he can certainly bounce back here.

The Littlewoods Bet Direct Handicap at Lingfield looks to be at the mercy of Desert Lord.

David Flood's four-year-old broke the track for six furlongs earlier in the month, but he didn't enjoy any sort of luck over a mile last week.

The leaders went a very slow pace there and he was tapped for toe a furlong out before staying on again.

Desert Lord moves back down to seven furlongs here and it would be dangerous to ignore him.
