Tipperary; 2-18 Monaghan; 1-13Former All Star Declan Browne turned on the style, scoring 1-7, as Tipperary finished their Division 2B campaign with a flourish at Ardfinnan yesterday.
Brown gave an exhibition of marksmanship and showed his class and skill by grabbing all his scores from play. Monaghan's Hugh Malone opened the scoring with a fifth-minute goal, but Browne responded with a point before giving the home side the lead with a super goal on seven minutes.
Tipperary led on double scores 2-8 to 1-4 at half-time.
