NUI Galway 1-9 Dublin IT1-9
A POINT in the fourth minute of injury-time by NUIG’s Niall Burke at Dangan yesterday ensures this pool will not be decided until next week. NUIG will need to at least draw with Carlow IT next week to advance, but DIT look out having lost their opening match.
The Dublin side, who led by 0-5 to 0-3 at the break, seemed poised for victory when Paul Morris flicked home a free from David Treacy to put them a point ahead in the third minute of stoppage-time after they came from five points down with a minute of normal time left. But there was time for a final NUIG attack and Burke made no mistake.
