RACING:SOLWHIT COULD face a busy December with trainer Charles Byrnes still planning to run his six-time Grade One winner in the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle and also at Leopardstown over Christmas, writes Brian O'Connor.

Weather conditions mean it remains uncertain when, or if, the Hatton’s Grace will be run but Byrnes remains committed to running in the €85,000 Fairyhouse feature. “If it’s on, then he’ll run,” the Co Limerick trainer said yesterday. “We’ve been able to keep the gallops open here. There’s no strong work being done but the horse is fine and exercising away.”

Solwhit won last year’s December Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown’s Christmas festival and a return for that race is also on the card with Byrnes adding: “It is possible he will run in the two.”
