Michael Kinane had no hesitation in labelling Fasliyev as the best juvenile he has ever ridden following a highly impressive success in the Group One Prix Morny at Deauville yesterday.

The Aidan O'Brien charge retained his aura of invincibility after crushing the John Gosden colt, Warm Heart, by four lengths on very soft ground.

The winning margin could easily have been increased had Kinane wanted, as Fasliyev made it a perfect five wins from as many starts.

Recording his third group win on the bounce, Fasliyev dominated from the word go with Harbour Island and Warm Heart also prominent early on.

Fasliyev sealed the issue two out by drawing away effortlessly, and some decent opposition were made to look decidedly second rate as the stable repeated their 1998 success with Orpen.

Kinane said: "I have never ridden a two-year-old like this before. He just does everything so easily."

O'Brien added: "He is a lovely colt that is getting bigger and stronger. He usually needs a lead, but, as he was going so well, we let him stride on and do his own thing."

O'Brien would not be drawn as to Fasliyev's next target, but he did indicate that the 2,000 Guineas next season was very much part of the game plan.

Godolphin's hitherto unbeaten City On A Hill proved the big disappointment of the race by finishing last of the seven.

But the Godolphin stable gained some compensation with their smart stayer, Kayf Tara, in the Group Two Prix Kergorlay.

A horse with Irish St Leger and Melbourne Cup ambitions, Kayf Tara crushed the only other previous group one winner in the field, Invermark, by five lengths.

O'Brien's Aspen Leaves was a non-runner in the Listed Prix Lieurey in which Tycoon's Dolce pipped Godolphin's Oriental Fashion by a short neck.

On Saturday, George Margarson gained his most valuable success after Barathea's Guest took the Stg£43,000 plus Listed Criterium du Fonds Europeen de l'Elevage at the Normandy track.

Silverbullet, the top-class American filly, ran out an impressive nine-length winner of the Grade One Alabama Stakes at saratoga on Saturday.

Silverbullet's 13th career win in 15 starts boosted hear earnings to over $2.6 million in her first attempt at a mile and a quarter.

Jerry Bailey, the winning rider, described the performance of Bob Baffert's charge as "awesome".
