Kilkenny CBS 0-14 Coláiste Eoin 2-6:Points in the 60th and 62nd minutes from Paddy Cahill (free) and Luke Scanlon earned Kilkenny CBS a dramatic win over Coláiste Eoin in Clonad.

The Dublin side were good at grabbing goal chances when they came their way. Strikes from Colm O’Neill in the 13th minute and and a 17th minute effort from Dara Gallagher helped them shake up the opposition and helped them to an interval lead of 2-2 to 0-7.

The CBS grabbed the opening five scores of the second half before the Dublin side charged back to parity again, getting level at 2-6 to 0-12 in the 50th minute. In the end, though, Cahill and Scanlon sneaked Kilkenny through.
