UCD 2-11TRINITY 1-5:Trinity College were overpowered by an impressive UCD side at Belfield last night. Trinity battled hard and a goal from Daragh Daly after a high ball from TomÁs Corrigan saw them lead 1-2 to 0-3 at the end of the first quarter.

Paul Cahillane found the net three minutes after the restart to make it 1-6 to 1-3 and Kingston fired home an excellent effort after 39 minutes. That pushed UCD 2-8 to 1-3 in front.

In between UCD continued to dominate but were less clinical in front of goal, although Cahillane, Kingston and Niall Kilroy found the range in an impressive display which UCD will feel they can even improve on.
