Myles Cunningham and Tom Murray have become quite a distinguished duo since capturing the CGU-sponsored Foxrock Scotch Foursomes last year. As it happens, they will be defending the title, starting next Sunday, May 16th, as captain and vice-captain of Woodbrook GC.

This is the ninth staging of the event under the current sponsorship and, as usual, the field will comprise 64 pairs from 19 south city clubs, other than the hosts. A slight change of format means that the final will take place on Friday, which means additional matches over the preceding days.

Meanwhile, apart from their status as officers of Woodbrook, Cunningham and Murray are attempting to become the first pair to successfully defend the title.
