US PGA TOUR: Sweden's Daniel Chopra equalled the lowest round of his US Tour career with a six-under-par 64 on the second day of the Bank of America Colonial tournament at Fort Worth in Texas yestewrday.
The 32-year-old, who in his third season in the States, went to the turn in a brilliant 29 with six birdies in the space of eight holes.
Halfway through the $3.2million event Chopra was three behind the early clubhouse leaders - Canada's Stephen Ames and Charley Hoffman of the US.
The Stockholm-born golfer, who moved to India aged seven, was paired with Britain's Justin Rose and despite a double bogey six at the 18th - his ninth - Rose added a 69 to his opening 68 to stand three under, five behind.

SENIORS TOUR: Eamonn Darcy returned from a lengthy lay-off to finish just a shot off the first round lead in the Italian Seniors Open at Circolo Golf Venezia on the beautiful Venetian island of Lido.
The former Ryder Cup player, beaten in a play-off at this event last year, carded a three under par 69 to finish one behind Scotland's Sam Torrance and Chilean Guillermo Encina at the top of the leaderboard.
Denis O'Sullivan, plagued by a knee injury, started with a level par 72 while Eddie Polland carded a 74.

CHALLENGE TOUR: Eamonn Brady and Tim Rice were forced to catch an early flight home from the European Challenge Tour's Telenet Trophy after both missed the level par halfway cut at the Limburg Golf and Country Club in Belgium.
After an opening score of two over 74, Rice was always battling against making the weekend and ended with a 76 for a six over total, but Brady had to go through the annoyance of missing out by a shot after a 73.
The 31 year old Dubliner was undone by a poor front nine of three over 39, which, despite a valiant effort to come home in two under amidst the howling winds.
Spain's Ivó Giner leads the way on eight under par 136, one ahaed of Francois Camels and two clear of Denny Lucas and Morten Hedegaard.

LET TOUR: Veterans Lisa Hall and Laura Davies plus Yorkshire rookie Fame More made it an impressive scoreboard for English players at the halfway stage of the Deutsche Bank Swiss Open.
Hall shot a best-of-the-day 67 at Golf Gerre in Losone, while More had a 69 to share top spot on nine-under-par 135. Davies had a 71 and was alone in third place on seven-under.
Ireland's Rebecca Coakley fred a second round 73 for a three-over-par total of 147.

BRABAZON TROPHY: Despite a miserable day at Ganton with strong winds and occasional heavy showers, the cream came to the top in the first round of the English Open Amateur Championship for the Brabazon Trophy.
Three internationals, George Murray, Robert Dinwiddie and Marius Thorp, shared the lead on 70 and were congratulating themselves for taming the brutal conditions until late in the day when England's Jamie Moul put them in the shade.
Moul, winner of two titles recently including the Lytham Trophy, was out in mid-afternoon and benefited from calmer times to post a five under par 66 and open a four shot lead.
Greg Bowden leads the Irish challenge on 72 with Irish champion Rory McIlroy on 74.
