Carnew ... 2-12 St Patrick's ... 1-5 Carnew Emmet's made no mistake at the second time of asking when lifting their 16th senior Wicklow hurling title at Aughrim on Saturday.
A St Patrick's goal midway through the second half by Michael O'Brien reduced the deficit to four points but Carnew responded with points from Joe Murphy and Don Hyland.
Carnew's Vinny Mulroe landed a goal in the opening minutes and his side led by 2-4 to 0-2 at the break. Gary Doran gave a tour-de-force performance for Carnew at midfield which earned him the man of the match award.
