CAVAN FOOTBALL manager Tommy Carr has hit out at the “uninformed” critics within the county. “The only thing you do get annoyed about is the uninformed criticism,” said Carr, who remains in place as manager for the second year of a three-year term.
“If people would just take the time to find out some of the facts before they go to radio or print, I think it would make everybody’s life much easier.”
Meanwhile, ex-Armagh captain Paul McGrane has been named on a five-man selection committee set up to seek out the county’s new senior football manager. McGrane will be joined by Ulster Council coaching director Eugene Young, Armagh chairman Kevin Brady, secretary Paddy Nugent and club representative Gerard Davidson.
