Catch ball justified her perceived position as something of a handicap good-thing by taking the Michael Lynch Plant Hire Handicap in great style on the final afternoon of the three-day Killarney fixture.

The Willie Mullins-trained mare took advantage of her Flat rating of just 43, compared with 130 over hurdles, leading inside the final quarter mile under Seamus Heffernan to beat Homestead by six lengths.

"She will stay on the Flat over the summer, and the GPT Handicap at Galway is a likely target," said a delighted Mullins afterwards.

Zamnah showed the benefit of an outing here on Monday evening when gaining a narrow success in the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Claiming Race. Catherine Gannon's mount weaved her way through horses in the final furlong to beat the fast-finishing Sea Fisher by a short head, with Homer just a head further adrift in third.
