NFL Division Two B/ Cavan 1-14 Tipperary 0-12: Cavan continued their impressive league form when they travelled away to Tipperary in Ardfinnan yesterday and claimed the spoils.
Cavan led by 1-10 to 0-5 at the interval - their goal coming in the fourth minute from centre forward Mark McKeever - having dominated the first half when playing with the breeze.
Four of Tipp's early scores came from the boot of Declan Browne and the former All Star led the home side's second-half fight-back, posting further points to put Tipp within striking distance. But Cavan held on.
