CBC Cork - 22 Castletroy College - 12: A superb second-half performance from holders Christian Brothers' College, Cork, overwhelmed Castletroy College at Doordoyle yesterday. Castletroy led 12-0 at the break as Eoghan Nicholas touched down inside three minutes and on the stroke of half-time Ronan O'Mahony dived for the corner.

CBC were a different side on the turnover. Darren Loftus struck for his first try in the 35th minute, and, seven minutes later, Billy O'Regan pounced. Brian Fleming added the two points. Tries from Loftus and Jack Bransfield sealed victory.
