Celtic queried over Villa deal

AGENT Blair Morgan last night insisted that Celtic view, in the clear over their £2

AGENT Blair Morgan last night insisted that Celtic view, in the clear over their £2.4m swoop for Aston Villa forward Tommy Johnson. It has been alleged an unlicensed agent, Kevin Mason, was involved in the Johnson deal.

FIFA yesterday faxed the Scottish Football Association to instigate an enquiry into the agents involved in the brokering of the deal last week.

But Celtic claim the Johnson deal was brokered only by Blair Morgan, the Dunfermline based agent who holds a FIFA licence. "I solely and exclusively conducted the negotiations in the Johnson transfer deal," Morgan told BBC Scotland, Kevin Mason was not involved at any stage."
