The top two-mile chaser Central House warms up for his winter campaign with a run on the flat at Navan this afternoon and he can show some younger rivals the way home under this season's leading rider Declan McDonogh.

It's a race that has been won by big National Hunt names like Back In Front (2004) and Hardy Eustace (2003) in recent years and Central House looks a speedier type for the level than the highly rated staying hurdler Kerryhead Windfarm.

Aidan O'Brien throws four at the juvenile maiden including a full brother to High Chaparral called The Ethiopian. However, only a short head denied Soldier Of Fortune a winning debut at Gowran earlier this month and the experience should help him significantly now. Le Tolstoy is the Ballydoyle newcomer in the three-year-old maiden but there was a lot to like about Snow Lord's debut behind Mon Michel at the Listowel festival and Michael Kinane can get the Oxx runner home in front.
