The two double sculls and the quadruple which will take part in the World Cup regatta in Vienna this weekend will be different from that officially entered by the Irish Amateur Rowing Union.

In the doubles, Neal Byrne will team up with Niall O'Toole, and Gearoid Towey with James Lyndsay-Finn. The quad will be stroked by Noel Monahan, and will also include (from the bow) Eugene Coakley, John Armstrong and Owen Byrne.

World Cup organisers permit managers to change half a crew, so the fact that the names entered by the IARU will not square with the competing crews should not provide a logistical difficulty.

The national lightweight four is also entered.
