MAGNERS LEAGUE:THE FAT LADY has not sung just yet but she must be clearing her throat this morning as Leinster fans wake up believing that their first Celtic crown since 2002 will soon become a reality.
But Leinster coach Cheika has cautioned his title-chasing players to remain focused on the task ahead.
He said: "This was an important win for us in the context of the league and we're four points closer to the title but the only thing we can focus on is Munster.
"Title or no title, that's what we have to do. We will enjoy this win and we've got a weekend off next weekend when the Heineken Cup returns but we're ready for the challenge ahead.
"Munster, Llanelli, Edinburgh and Cardiff are all lurking around us and we know they will be coming after us.
"We love that challenge and we're trying to develop a winning culture and build that mentality and confidence.
"We really want the title but we know it's not over until we have the title in our hands."
Leinster have four games left to achieve that goal starting with an all-Irish showdown against Munster on April 12th followed by Edinburgh six days later before a double-header against lowly Welsh region Newport Gwent Dragons.
And Cheika's men proved they will be a match for anyone regardless of the conditions in the title run-in with an efficient and dominant display in the awful wet weather in west Wales.
Cheika added: "The forwards were superb but the back three of Rob Kearney, Shane Horgan and Luke Fitzgerald played extremely well in extremely difficult conditions.
"They made some great, strong decisions and kicked and chased well and put Llanelli under pressure.
"It was a team effort and we were delighted with the overall contribution of the squad.
"We'd like to play running rugby but we want to be able to play in all types of conditions.
"Before arriving in Wales, we looked at the long-range weather forecast and we saw it was going to be wet so we prepared for that. Thankfully it rained because otherwise we would have looked like idiots!
"But that's the accumulation of the hard work we've put in and we must maintain our form for the rest of the season."
Llanelli coach Phil Davies conceded Leinster totally deserved their victory.
"We're really disappointed but give credit to Leinster because they were great value for their win.
"They controlled the ball and scored points when they had to. We showed plenty of endeavour to get back into the match at 17-10 but then conceded the third try quickly and that has cost us."
