Get Me Out Of Here second again

A contender for the unluckiest Cheltenham horse must be Get Me Out Of Here, who finished runner-up at the festival for the third time in yesterday's Coral Cup.

He was beaten a nose by Final Approach in the 2011 County Hurdle and also finished second in the 2010 Supreme. “All being well he’ll come back here next year,” said trainer Jonjo O’Neill. “And I’ll be delighted with another second!”

Day-two crowd second biggest

THE day-two festival crowd of 53,015 was up by almost three thousand on last year.

The day-one crowd was also revised upwards yesterday by a thousand bringing the halfway attendance figure to 108,486 compared to 103,446 in 2011.

"This is the biggest second-day crowd since St Patrick's Day fell on the Wednesday in 2007," said Cheltenham's managing director Edward Gillespie.
