Stewart Cink describes himself as an under-achiever and would dearly love to improve his record by beating Tiger Woods in today's final at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.

Cink, who defeated Padraig Harrington in the second round, won the last of his four PGA Tour titles at the 2004 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational but has shone with brilliant putting at Dove Mountain's Gallery Golf Club this week.

"I haven't closed the deal as many times as I've had the opportunity," Cink told reporters after booking his place in the 36-hole final with a 4&2 victory over compatriot Justin Leonard.

"That's a disappointment to me and that's why I feel like I've under-achieved. I know everybody would like to have won more. Tiger has won, what, 70 times and he's probably wishing he'd won 150," he added with a smile.

Cink, who also knocked out Colin Montgomerie and US Open winner Angel Cabrera earlier in the tournament, took control against Leonard with a red-hot front nine of seven-under-par 29.

The 34-year-old rattled up five birdies and an eagle in the first eight holes before sealing victory on the 16th green.

Woods, in pursuit of his sixth consecutive tournament victory worldwide and eighth in nine starts, holds Cink in high esteem.

"Stewie can light it up," the 13-times major winner said. 'He can make a bunch of birdies and he is one of the best putters out here and he usually drives it pretty good.

"Any time a person is a very good putter in match-play, you know it's going to be a good battle."
