Davy Fitzgerald and his All-Ireland winning Clare hurlers face a possible rematch with Cork in the Munster Championship semi-finals in 2014.
Clare beat Cork in last Sunday’s replay to finish off a memorable hurling championship and they will meet again in the last for in Munster if Cork can see off Fitzgerald’s old charges Waterford in the only quarter-final match.
The other semi-final sees this year’s Munster champions Limerick face Tipperary for the second year in a row, after they beat their great rivals 1-18 to 1-15 in the semi-final ahead of beating Cork in the decider.
The Leinster hurling draw sees a new round-robin system involving Antrim, Carlow, Laois, London and Westmeath, with the winners and runners-up going through to the quarter-finals.
The winners of the round-robin will face Wexford, while the runners-up will face last year’s beaten provincial finalists Galway. The third quarter-final sees Kilkenny take on Offaly.
They lost to Dublin in the decider and Anthony Daly’s side will join the competition at the semi-final stage, where they will take on either Wexford or the round-robin winner. The second semi-final will see the winner of the Kilkenny v Offaly match play either Galway or the round-robin runner-up.
All-Ireland football champions Dublin will open their defence of the Leinster title with quarter-final against either Wexford or Laois. The winners of the first round game between Longford and Offaly will take on Wexford in the quarter-finals, while Westmeath or Louth will take on Kildare. The other quarter-final pits Carlow against Meath.
Dublin would avoid Meath in the semi-finals if they can win their quarter-final, taking on either Wexford or the winners of the Longford and Offaly game. The other semi-final would see the winner of Carlow v Meath game take on Kildare or the winners from the Westmeath and Louth game.
Ulster is as intriguing as ever, with Tyrone facing a preliminary round clash with Down, with the winners taking on Ulster champions Monaghan in the quarter-finals.
Derry will host 2012 All-Ireland champions Donegal in the last eight, while Fermanagh play Antrim and Armagh play Cavan. Tyrone and Donegal are on opposite sides of the semi-final draw .
Defeated All-Ireland finalists Mayo will play New York in a preliminary round clash in Connacht, with the winners facing either Roscommon or Leitrim in the semi-finals.
Beaten provincial champions London will host Galway in the quarter-finals, with the winner facing Sligo in the semi-finals.
