WOMEN'S HOCKEY/Preview: After Pembroke Wanderers made sure of a third place finish in Leinster's first division on Wednesday night, with a 2-1 win over newly crowned Irish Cup winners Loreto, thus securing their place in the All-Ireland Club quarter-finals, the final spot in the line-up will be decided in Limerick tomorrow when UCC and Galway meet in the preliminary round.

Pegasus await the winners of that tie with Loreto v Ballymoney, Hermes v Ards and Pembroke v Cork Harlequins completing the quarter-final pairings - the first legs will be played on Saturday week.

Meanwhile the Irish Junior League finals get under way tomorrow at Garryduff where hosts Church of Ireland II meet Pegasus II in the opening game - the Belfast team came through a play-off with Belfast Harlequins II earlier this week to qualify for the finals. After winning the Irish Junior Cup and the Leinster second division title Hermes II must start favourites.
