Manchester United will unveil a statue of Alex Ferguson outside Old Trafford at 2pm on November 23rd, ahead of the league meeting with Queens Park Rangers, who were the Scot's first home opposition of his 26-year tenure.
A club statement said: "The statue, by renowned sculptor Philip Jackson, will be positioned in a prominent position near the entrance to the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, renamed in his honour last year."
Ferguson's haul of major trophies for United stands at two European Cups, 12 Premier League titles, five FA Cups, four League Cups, the Cup-Winners' Cup and one Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup and Club World Cup.
