With just under 4,000 expectant punters coming through the St Colman's Park turnstiles, the club's biggest ever attendance for a league game, it'll be the Ramblers supporters who will look back at this one with the warmer memories.
The opening half was far brighter than the second with good chances at both ends, the best being Michael Devine's near own goal when a pass across his own area was almost carried over an unattended goal line by the strong wind.
The second half sprang to life in the dying moments when George O'Callaghan forced two great saves from James McCarthy in the space of a minute.
