Garda, of the Leinster Senior League, are planning the first cup upset of the season when they take on first division promotion hopefuls Cobh Ramblers at their Westmanstown sports complex near Clonsilla on Wednesday at 1.45 p.m.

The hero for Garda was former Brighton trialist David O'Brien, who made it 2-2 with just three minutes to go at Cobh on Saturday night, after the Garda had taken a shock lead through Darren Coogan after just 10 minutes.

Anthony Kenneally, who is suspended along with Pat Maher for the midweek replay, equalised just before half-time when he rounded goalkeeper Vincent Daly to shoot home.

Cobh's Tony Izzi scored his first goal since November giving Cobh a 2-1 advantage after 57 minutes, before O'Brien tied the game up at 2-2, after 87 minutes.
