Led by forward Seán Cunningham and classy midfielder Glenn Whelan, St Benildus coolly built a five-point lead in the first quarter, but Coláiste Mhuire battled back to trail by a point at half-time, 0-6 to 0-5.
In a thrilling finish, substitute Shane Dempsey, Tommy Doyle and Aonghus Clarke found their range to snatch victory for the home side.
