Longford SF Final - Colmcille 0-13 Longford Slashers 0-07:COLMCILLE WON a county senior football championship title for the first time in 50 years at Pearse Park yesterday.

They were well on the road to victory at half-time when leading by 0-7 to 0-2.

Donie McKeon then scored three points to help Colmcille to a 0-11 to 0-3 lead and by then the game was over as a contest.
