Ebbw Vale confirmed their status as the top team in Pool Four of European Shield after their comprehensive win over Connacht at the Galway Sportsground on Saturday.
Connacht were playing catch-up after Andrew Wagstaff scored the visitors' first of six tries after eight minutes. Vale led 18-0 at half-time and added four more tries in the second half. Connacht's tries came from Matt Mostyn, Mel Deane and Conor Kilroy.
