Interprovincial Hurling Semi-final/ Connacht 1-28 Ulster 4-13: Connacht are through to the Interprovincial hurling decider after an easy victory over Ulster in Seán MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, on Saturday evening.
The all-Galway Connacht side were always in control in the second period with Niall Healy and Seán Glynn in impressive scoring form, sharing 16 points between them.
Ulster were level on 23 minutes when a Neil McManus goal left the score 0-8 to 1-5 and even though Kieran Kelly hit two more first-half goals, Connacht led 1-14 to 3-5 at the break and were never really troubled in the second half.

• The Ulster camogie team took their first senior interprovincial success since 1967 following a 2-12 to 3-8 victory over Leinster in Blanchardstown yesterday with their goals coming from Jane Adams. Ulster led by 0-11 to 1-4 at half-time.
