Leinster Youths - 11 Connacht Youths - 20:A display of strong driving mauls earned Connacht a clear win against Leinster at Anglesea Road on Saturday.
After 10 minutes Connacht drove forward from 15 metres out and flanker Tadgh Linnane got the touchdown, which was converted by outhalf Barry O'Sullivan.
On the stroke of half time the pack drove forward from a lineout and winger Aidan Kennaghan crossed in the corner. O'Sullivan had already put Connacht 10 points ahead with a dropped goal.
Leinster struck back with two penalties from full back Larry Doyle, and Daragh Tyrrell touched down in the second half.
Doyle missed the conversion and, near the end, Stephen Feeney put the game beyond Leinster.
