European Challenge Cup/Harlequins v Connacht:Connacht will welcome the opportunity to conclude a most disappointing European season with a visit to the Stoop in England today (2.15pm).
Harlequins hold all the advantages. However slim the chances, a best-runner-up spot remains a possibility - thus, depending on the other pool results, Harlequins also possess the greater incentive.
As a result it is hard to see Connacht posting what would be only their second win from six pool matches - their poorest European record in several seasons.
Despite the difficult draw this year, which included pool leaders Bath, Connacht travel to the Stoop knowing their 18-19 loss in the opening match against Harlequins at the Galway Sportsground was a critical result.
Until then Harlequins had not recorded a competitive victory all season, and that result proved the springboard to a five-game winning streak, while Connacht claimed just one win at home, to Montpellier.
With a keener eye on next weekend's crunch Celtic League fixture with Edinburgh, Connacht coach Michael Bradley has made just three changes, all in the pack, to the side that played Bath last Friday.
Captain John Fogarty, Ray Ofisa and Ryan Strudwick replace Adrian Flavin, Colm Rigney and Andrew Farley, who are named on the bench.
CONNACHT: D Riordan; T Robinson, J Hearty, M McHugh, C McPhillips; P Warwick, C O'Loughlin; B Wilkinson, J Fogarty (capt), S Knoop; M Swift, R Strudwick; M Lacey, R Ofisa, B O'Connor. Replacements: A Flavin, B Sturgess, A Farley, C Rigney, C Keane, P Durcan, G Williams.
