Darren Corbett, will be determined to produce a much-improved performance when he takes on the Ukranian, Konstantine Ochrey, in Belfast tonight in what is billed as an Inter-Continental cruiserweight title bout.

Corbett, the Commonwealth champion at that weight, is keen to punch his way into the really big-time with a challenge for Carl Thompson's WBO cruiserweight title.

Thompson beat Chris Eubank over 12 rounds in a bruising fight two weeks ago and, although many felt that Eubank was well past his best, the former super middleweight champion put up a very courageous performance.

He made Thompson work hard for his victory and it how appears that Britain's two big promoters, Frank Warren and Barry Hearn, have pencilled in the name of Corbett for Thompson's next challenge.
