Three goals in a 10-minute spell midway through the first half sped champions Cork on their way to a comfortable win over a disappointing Clare in the Munster under-21 hurling championship at Thurles last evening. Favourites Cork stamped their authority on the game with a Brian O'Keeffe goal after 11 minutes. At the interval Cork were ahead 3-7 to 0-7 and with the breeze to aid them in the second half, they were unbeatable.
