Cork's hurling boss, Jimmy Barry Murphy, includes no fewer than eight of the county's successful All-Ireland under-21 team in his side for the Oireachtas clash with Limerick at Pairc Ui Rinn on Sunday. Sean O'Farrell lines out at full forward flanked by under-21 team-mates Sean McGrath and Joe Deane.

The remaining five under-aged players are goalkeeper Donal Og Cusack, left corner-back Danny Murphy, left wing-back Sean Og O hAalpin, midfielder Tadgh Murphy and wing forward Mick O'Connell.

Compared to the team that won the league a few weeks ago, Limerick make five changes for Sunday's game. Gary Kirby, Ciaran Carey and Barry Foley will be involved with their club, Patrickswell in the Munster club championship and John Foley is also club tied while Declan Nash is injured. Into the team come Alan Brown, Frankie Carroll, Shane O'Neill, Niall Doolin, David Hennessey and Owen O'Neill.

With so many call-ups in both sides, the Pairc Ui Rinn exercise should prove enlightening for both Barry Murphy and Eamonn Cregan.

Dublin manager Michael O'Grady has been forced into an experimental mood in naming his team to meet Antrim in the Oireachtas Cup tie at Parnell Park on Sunday.

Denied of the services of the the Leinster club-tied O'Tooles players and restricted, in choice, by a spate of injuries, the team includes new faces in midfielder Darren Sweeney and forwards Tomas McGrane and Emmet Carroll. Liam Walsh in recovering from a knee operation and Barry O'Sullivan is nursing an ankle injury.

Parnell Park will house an attractive double header. The hurling game has been brought forward to 2.0 with the football tie between Erin's Isle and Carlow champions Old Leighlin fixed for 3.15.

There are two further changes to the Oireachtas list of fixtures for the weekend. The Waterford-Wexford match has been switched from Dungarvan to Walsh Park while the Cavan v Louth game, in the championship division, goes on at Breffni Park .

Another time change concerns the double-bill Ulster club football semi-finals in Clones. Dungiven and St Paul's open the programme at 1.30 with holders Crossmaglen and Errigal Ciarain following at 3.0.

Clare, who are perhaps the favourites at this stage to lift the All-Ireland B football title, show a number of changes for their semi-final clash with Monaghan in Tullamore. Ger Keane comes into the right flank of attack instead of John Enright and Denis O'Driscoll replaces Pat Foley at right corner forward.

Carlow take on Louth in the opening semi-final.

Tipperary have appointed two new hurling managers for next year's championship. Under21 supremo Michael Doyle has stood down and his place goes to Gerry O'Brien, a selector for the past two years.
