Munster IHC/ Corl 1-21 Limerick 1-10: Cork kept one hand on their Munster and All-Ireland intermediate hurling championship titles with an 11-point win over Limerick, in their provincial semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds, yesterday.
Ahead 1-2 to 0-2, thanks to a Darren Dineen goal, Cork never looked back and despite a Limerick reply on 20 minutes from Dave Clancy, it was the Leesiders who led 1-10 to 1-5 at the break.
After the interval Cork simply slipped into a higher gear and a string of scores from all positions ensured the win.
