Women's Football All-Ireland senior semi-finals/ Cork 0-13 Mayo 1-9: Cork hit four points in the last three minutes to pull off a sensational TG4 All-Ireland semi-final victory over Mayo at O'Moore Park on Saturday.

Cork took full advantage when Mayo were reduced to 13 players by the sin-binning of Ciara McDermott and Marcella Heffernan in the last two minutes.

Substitute Valerie Mulcahy hit three successive frees to leave just one point between the teams.

Full forward Caoimhe Creedon added the equalising point and with just over 20 seconds left Cork captain Juliet Murphy put her team in front for the first time in the game.

Mayo had started brightly and three quick points from Cora Staunton, Sarah Tyrell and Christina Heffernan helped them into a 0-4 to 0-1 lead before Staunton added an 18th-minute goal.

But Cork responded well and Creedon, Amanda Murphy, Juliet Murphy and Kelly Corcoran scored points to cut the interval deficit to 1-5 to 0-5.

Points from Amanda Murphy and substitute Mary O'Connor reduced the gap to the minimum but Staunton re-established Mayo's one-goal advantage with a brace of frees before Cork produced their whirlwind finish.
