THE Hurling Development Committee's reform proposals which go before Congress this weekend in London received a further significant boost last night when Cork's county board voted to accept the complete package.

The championship proposals - including the re-entry of beaten Munster and Leinster finalists to the All-Ireland - was passed by 56-27. The proposals for running the League and championship simultaneously, to be decided by Central Council next month, were accepted by an even greater margin with around 90 per cent in favour.

All-Ireland champions Clare however, defeated the championship proposals 36-28, although a majority of the executive were in support. The county will decide on the League proposal before next month's Central Council meeting.
