ALTHOUGH Snow Princess's winning streak appears to have a momentum all of its own, Corradini can defy top weight to beat Lord Huntingdon's filly in the Harewood Rated Handicap at Doncaster today.

Time may show that the four year old faced a near impossible task when trying to give 18lb to runaway winner Merit in the Tote Chester Cup on his latest start and, in the event, he performed with great credit to fail by just seven lengths.

Prior to that, he had been well beaten when needing the run at Newbury behind Kadastrof (form he reversed at Chester) and Kamikaze but looked a picture in the paddock beforehand.

Henry Cecil doesn't keep four year olds unless they are likely to pay their way and it could be that Corradini takes this on the way to a trip to Royal Ascot.
