Richard Coughlan must undertake a dawn rendezvous at the EnJoie course in Endicott, New York, today to complete his second round in the BC Open after darkness forced play to be suspended last night.
Coughlan, who had opened with a three-under-par 69 in the first round, was comfortably on target to survive the cut, as he had improved by one shot, to four under par, after 15 holes of his second round.
But Keith Nolan looked destined to miss the cut at four over par when he too was forced to stop play with just one hole remaining.
Coughlan trails clubhouse leader Dave Barr by five shots after the Canadian recorded a second round 65 for nine-under-par 135.
