Ardara 1-11 Mayobridge 1-11: Ardara and Mayobridge will have to play their Ulster football quarter-final again after Benny Coulter gave the Down side a second chance when he scored a point in injury-time to level the scores at MacCumhnaill Park, Ballybofey, yesterday.

Ardara forced the pace throughout the first half and led by 0-4 to 0-2 after 20 minutes, but a scoring burst of four points inside three minutes edged Mayobridge in front on 26 minutes.

By half-time Ardara were back on terms thanks to the Boyle brothers, Brendan and Jonathan.

Mayobridge then took control two minutes into the second half when John Quinn found the net after being set up by Mickey Linden.

The three-point lead (1-6 to 0-6) was the biggest margin that separated the sides but within four minutes Ardara were back in front thanks to a point followed by a Peter McHugh goal.

The lead changed hands again before Michael Doherty twice put Ardara in front, but Coulter took the tie to a replay, next Sunday in Newry.
